Udaipur. Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) will once again join the Vedanta Zinc City Half Marathon 2026 as its healthcare partner. The prestigious running event is scheduled to take place in the City of Lakes on September 6, 2026.

Continuing its association with the event from previous years, Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital and Geetanjali College of Physiotherapy will extend comprehensive healthcare services and medical support to the participants.

The official poster of the Vedanta Zinc City Half Marathon 2026 was also launched recently. The event was attended by Hindustan Zinc CEO Amarendu Prakash, Dr. Manoj Soni, and Kalpesh Chand Rajbar, Head of Marketing, Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital, along with other representatives associated with the event. Through the poster launch, citizens were encouraged to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle and participate in the grand running event in large numbers.

Promoted as “India’s Most Beautiful Marathon,” the event will take participants through some of Udaipur’s most picturesque landscapes, including its iconic lakes, historic and royal heritage routes, and the scenic Aravalli hills. The unique route promises runners an unforgettable experience amid the city’s natural beauty.

The marathon will commence from Field Club, Udaipur, on September 6. Participants across different age groups and fitness levels can take part in the 5-km, 10-km and 21.097-km half marathon categories. The event is certified by AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races) and recognised by World Athletics.

Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital has been actively associated with various sports, healthcare and public awareness initiatives in the city for several years.
