Sri Ganganagar: On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Lions Club Sri Ganganagar Main organised a special felicitation programme at Shri Atma Vallabh Jain PG Girls College to honour educators for their contribution to society and education.

Seven teachers — Seema R. Giri, Dr. Nishu Khungar, Kapil Kalda, Jaswinder Kaur, Sunpreet Kaur, Vaishali and Jyoti — were felicitated as a mark of gratitude and appreciation.

Club President Hanumandas Singal, Secretary Pankaj Garg, Region Chairman Deepak Watts, Zone Chairman Naurang Garg, District PRO Ashish Arora, Joint Secretary Ramesh Bansal, Radheshyam Ganeshgadhiya, CA Sanjay Bansal, Manish Gupta, Ashish Jain and other club members attended the programme. From the college, President Sumer Borad, Secretary Naresh Jain and Treasurer Pawan Jain were present.

Programme Coordinator Jitendra Jain welcomed the guests and teachers. Speakers said teachers do much more than impart academic knowledge — they guide students towards the right path, instil values and inspire them to achieve success. They also play a vital role in shaping society.

The honoured teachers expressed gratitude to the Lions Club for the recognition. Club President Hanumandas Singal and Secretary Pankaj Garg said respecting teachers is an integral part of Indian culture and values. The club, they added, would continue serving society through such welfare and felicitation initiatives.
