New Delhi: As PepsiCo India continues to grow its food and beverage business, it is evolving its portfolio to meet the changing needs of India’s increasingly discerning consumers. Balancing the taste consumers love with a growing interest in wellness, the company is expanding its Better-for-You choices through reformulation, new products and formats, and the use of diverse ingredients. This is complemented by greater transparency around nutritional and product attributes, giving consumers more variety and the information they need to make choices that suit their individual preferences and consumption occasions.
PepsiCo India’s beverage business has made significant strides in
expanding its low- and mid-calorie offerings. Today, more than 70% of its
beverage portfolio comprises zero-sugar or mid-calorie options, with the
ambition to progressively increase this to 90–100% over time. The company is advancing this through
reformulation and a growing range of choices across low and no sugar variants,
including Pepsi Black, 7UP Zero Sugar, Gatorade Zero and Nimbooz.
Across Foods,
PepsiCo India is expanding choice through positive nutrition, diverse
ingredients and new preparation formats. In 2026, Quaker was restaged to bring
its inherent protein, fibre and wholegrain credentials more prominently to the
forefront. Its positive choice offerings, including Red Rock Deli baked
variants with 40% less fat and Kurkure Jowar Puffs, a millet-based innovation
that celebrates India's agricultural heritage. These innovations are part of
PepsiCo's broader effort to provide consumers with more choices that align with
diverse tastes, preferences and lifestyles. The entire convenient foods
portfolio is made with “No Artificial Flavours or Colours” across brands
including Lay’s, Kurkure, Doritos, Cheetos, Uncle Chipps, Quaker and Red
Rock Deli.
Transparency
remains an important part of this evolution. PepsiCo India provides nutritional
information on pack, including energy, serving size and contribution to
recommended dietary allowances for key nutrients.

choices, bring smiles to their lives. From lower- and zero-sugar beverages to
