Udaipur: The Rajasthan State Badminton Sub-Junior Under-17 Championship witnessed intense competition and impressive performances by young players on Monday. Treasurer Veenu Hiren said several players delivered strong performances to secure victories and advance to the next round.
The matches featured closely fought contests, with Anshuman Chaudhary, Arnav, Tejeshwar Poonia, Kandarp Sharma, Arul Gora, Harman Pandit, Yuvraj Singh Shekhawat, Akshat Shekhawat, Vinay Pratap Singh, Anand Maderna, Jatin Beniwal, Ishan Sen, Vaibhav Agarwal, Chandresh Bhadu, Utkarsh Singh Rathore, Shreyansh Chaudhary, Rudraksh Middha, Devashish Prajapat, Tapeshwar Poonia, Tanishq Sharma and Vayam Lamba among those winning their respective matches and progressing to the next stage.
Harshvardhan Manju, Ritesh Swami, Aryan Prajapat and Aman Gurjar also registered victories in exciting and closely contested encounters. Divyansh Tomar, Kushal Acharya, Shauryadeep Yadav and Darshil Nair impressed with their performances and advanced to the next round.
In the girls’ category, Ritika Jhamnani, Khushi Sharma, Danika Karel, Padmaja Singh, Kavya Joshi, Sakshi Singh, Ojasvita Dubey and Kanishka Sharma won their respective matches to progress further in the championship.
Joint Secretary Chand Chawat said all matches on Tuesday will be played at the Love-Kush Stadium from 9 a.m. onwards. The winners will continue their challenge in the subsequent rounds.
