Udaipur: Dr. Surendra Muni, while addressing a religious discourse at Mahaveer Samavasaran in Devendradham, explained the 12 vows of Shravak Dharma and highlighted the supreme importance of non-violence, describing it as the essence of all religions.

He said non-violence should be incorporated into life through thoughts, words and actions. In today’s world, people often become responsible for violence not only through physical actions but also through words, excessive desires and expectations. He said exploitation can occur in families, workplaces, trade and business when people place their own interests above others.

Dr. Rajendra Muni, Pravartak, guided devotees through reflections on mortality and the worldly cycle, urging them to embrace non-violence, self-restraint and introspection.

He said positive thoughts contribute to spiritual purification and physical well-being, while bitterness and negative thinking can adversely affect health.

A Teli Tap was organised by the Sisodia family, with around 125 devotees completing the Parna. Upadhyay Ramesh Muni and Dipesh Muni offered Mangalik Bhavana. Sangh General Secretary Himmat Badala expressed gratitude to devotees.
