Udaipur: Teachers’ Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and warmth at Mahaveer Group of Institutions, where students and trainees expressed their respect, gratitude and affection for their teachers through a series of cultural activities.

The programme began with the felicitation and welcome of faculty members. Students and trainees presented a variety of cultural performances, which were appreciated by the teachers. Through their presentations, they beautifully highlighted the traditional guru-shishya bond and their appreciation for the role of teachers in shaping their lives.

The celebrations also included a cake-cutting ceremony with faculty members. Students presented gifts to their teachers as a gesture of affection and respect, creating an atmosphere of joy and emotion.

Institution Director Dr. Ashish Vaya, Mahaveer College Principal Dr. Nirmala Purohit, Mahaveer Jain Vidyalaya Sansthan Principal Dr. Jyoti Bala Kudal, Office Superintendent Ashok Jain, Rural and Cultural In-charge Neelam Modi, Dr. Bhairu Das Vaishnav and faculty members attended the event.

The faculty appreciated the students’ efforts, observing that Teachers’ Day is not only an occasion to honour teachers but also an opportunity to strengthen the bond between teachers and students.
