Udaipur: The Pravasi Kumawat Kshatriya Samiti organised its annual community gathering and picnic on Sunday at the Badbadewshwar Mahadev temple premises, bringing together a large number of community members for a day of fellowship, entertainment and celebration.

The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Samiti patrons Parmeshwar Lal Mandawara and Gulab Kumawat. They warmly welcomed and felicitated the dignitaries, community members, women and children who attended the gathering.

Addressing the gathering, Samiti President Harish Asiwal said the large participation of community members had made the event a grand success and reflected the community’s strong unity and togetherness.

General Secretary Mohan Ladanwa said a variety of sports and cultural competitions were organised to make the occasion entertaining and memorable. Children, youngsters and women participated in the activities with great enthusiasm.

Senior and prominent community members, including B.D. Kumawat, Devi Prasad Kumawat, Jitendra Singh Arya, Girdhari Lal, Sunil, Ramniwas, Shankar Lal, Radheshyam Ghodela, Shiv Baksh Nimival, Ramesh Chand Kumawat, Ashok Kumawat, Manish Kumawat and Shyamlal Kumawat, were among those present.

At the conclusion of the programme, Treasurer Shiv Baksh Nimival expressed gratitude to all community members and devotees of Lord Shiva for their participation and invited everyone to join the Mahaprasadi (community meal).
