Bhilwara. Senior journalist Sanjay Ladha, who has been active in the field of journalism for more than two decades, has added another significant achievement to his academic journey by earning a PhD in Management from Sangam University. The university has awarded him a provisional degree, marking the completion of his doctoral research.

Ladha’s research topic was “A Managerial Study of the Newspaper Industry with Special Reference to Rajasthan.” He completed the research under the leadership and guidance of Sangam University Vice Chancellor Professor (Dr.) Karunesh Saxena.

His final doctoral examination was also notable, as it was conducted by Dr. P.K. Sharma, Vice Chancellor of Jodhpur University. Thus, throughout his research journey, from the completion of his doctoral work to the final examination, Ladha benefited from the guidance and evaluation of experienced academicians.

The achievement is particularly significant as Ladha continued his higher education and research while remaining actively engaged in professional journalism. He completed his B.Com. in 1990, MBA in 2004, and BJMC and MJMC in 2007. He was a gold medallist in MJMC and received the gold medal from the then Governor of Rajasthan, His Excellency S.K. Singh.

Ladha has been associated with journalism and electronic media since 2007. He began his active journalism career with Doordarshan and later worked with NDTV from 2011 to 2020. He has also been associated with TV9 Bharatvarsh and News24. Since 2021, he has been associated with the Press Trust of India (PTI).

During his nearly two decades of journalistic experience, Ladha has worked across news gathering, news writing, electronic media and various issues concerning public interest. Pursuing doctoral research in Management while continuing his professional career reflects his commitment to continuous learning and academic excellence.

His academic journey has progressed from B.Com. to MBA, BJMC, MJMC, including a gold medal, and now a PhD in Management. The combination of extensive practical experience in journalism and academic research in management makes the achievement particularly significant.

Following the award of his PhD, Dr. Sanjay Ladha received congratulations and best wishes from people associated with journalism, education and social sectors, as well as from friends and well-wishers. Dr. Ladha attributed his achievement to the support and encouragement of his family members, teachers, research mentors, colleagues, friends and well-wishers.

Speaking about his achievement, Dr. Ladha said that education and experience are lifelong journeys. Journalism gave him an opportunity to understand society and people, while research provided an opportunity to examine a subject in greater depth through a scientific perspective.

“When experience connects with education, and education contributes to society, only then does an achievement become truly meaningful,” he said.
