Jaipur : The Gyan Shakti Think Tank (GSTT), under the aegis of Sapta Shakti Command, organized an insightful dialogue on very important topic ‘The Emerging Geostrategic Turmoil: Contestation or Coexistence?’ at Jaipur Military Station on 29 August 2026. Large number of serving and retired defense officers, academicians, students from eminent universities attended the dialogue. The panel included learned and experienced speakers’ former ambassador to Kuwait Amb Satish Mehta, IFS (Retd), former Army Commander Lt Gen Raj Shukla, (Retd), former ambassador to European Union Amb (Dr) Jaimini Bhagwati, India's leading commentators on foreign policy Prof C Raja Mohan, former ambassador to France and Monaco Amb Jawed Ashraf who shared their views on the subject. The speakers covered the US - China rivalry in recent years becoming a paradigm of international relations as it shapes both strategic debates and real political, military and economic dynamics. The dimensions of Sino-American competition over power and status including growing threat perceptions, economic rivalry and technological sphere of influence were covered. Lt Gen PS Shekhawat, COS, Sapta Shakti Command complimented the speakers for their candid views on a very important topic.
