Udaipur: The Laghu Udyog Bharati, Udaipur’s Ahilyabai Holkar Unit will organise Swayamsiddha–Ahilya Udyam Expo-1.0 from September 25 to 27 at Shubh Kesar Garden, providing women entrepreneurs with a dedicated platform to showcase their products, connect with customers and explore new business opportunities.
A key feature of the three-day expo will be that all stalls will be managed by women. The organisers have set a target of 105 stalls, featuring handicrafts, handlooms, traditional textiles, modern technology, start-ups, innovations, women-led products, live demonstrations and networking opportunities.
Dr. Reena Rathore, In-charge, Swayamsiddha Chittor Province, said this will be the fifth Swayamsiddha exhibition in Udaipur and is being organised on a larger scale this year. Stall charges have been kept affordable to encourage participation from small and middle-income women entrepreneurs. Some stalls will also be provided free of cost to tribal women wishing to showcase their products.
Dr. Rishika Paneri, President of the Ahilyabai Holkar Unit, said the expo, themed “From Women’s Empowerment to a Self-Reliant India,” aims to bridge the gap between women entrepreneurs and markets while supporting home-based businesses, MSMEs, artisans and start-ups.
Seema Pareek, President of the Rani Lakshmibai Unit, said the initiative seeks to promote women’s financial independence. Rajendra Surana, President of Laghu Udyog Bharati Udaipur, highlighted the organisation’s continued efforts to support entrepreneurs.
