Udaipur: Teachers’ Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at the Department of Agricultural Economics and Management, Rajasthan College of Agriculture, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur, on September 5 to mark the birth anniversary of eminent educationist and former President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
The programme was organised by the M.Sc. and Ph.D. students of the department and witnessed the participation of students, faculty members and staff. Students expressed their gratitude and respect towards their teachers, highlighting their significant contribution to education, research, academic guidance and the overall development of students.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. G.L. Meena, Head of the Department, said teachers play a vital role in the academic, professional and personal development of students. He noted that teachers go beyond imparting knowledge by motivating students to pursue excellence in research, innovation and various fields of life.
Dr. Latika Sharma also extended her Teachers’ Day greetings and encouraged students to continue learning and progressing through the guidance and mentorship of their teachers.
The programme was attended by Priyanka Yadav, Deepak Meena, Rishabh, Deepak Jain, Aditi Thakur, Rajkumari Sharma, Kashish, Rajesh, Khushi, Dimple, G.D. Vyas and other staff members.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks. The event was compered by Khushi, while Rajkumari Sharma proposed the vote of thanks.
The Teachers’ Day celebration strengthened the spirit of camaraderie and mutual respect among students, teachers and staff members. It also reinforced their collective commitment to quality education, excellence in research and academic achievement.
