###MLA Parmar Writes to CM for Construction of Government Agriculture College Building and Reconstruction of Somkagadar Canal*

**Kherwada, Dr. Dayaram Parmar, MLA from Kherwada constituency in Udaipur district, has written to the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, requesting orders for the construction of the Government Agriculture College building and the reconstruction of the damaged Somkagadar canal.

In his letter, Dr. Parmar provided detailed information about the canal, which crosses National Highway 48. During the last Rabi season, a trolley collision damaged the canal, stopping water flow to farmers' fields. Although temporary repairs restored water flow within a week, two significant risks remain: the canal could break again, endangering vehicles below, and farmers might not receive water for the upcoming Rabi crop. Officials estimate the reconstruction cost at eight crores. Dr. Parmar urged the Chief Minister to expedite the reconstruction to prevent potential accidents and ensure water availability for farmers.

In another letter, Dr. Parmar addressed the Chief Minister regarding the Government Agriculture College, established in Kherwada during 2022-23. Although the budget and contract for the building were approved, the contractor did not start work, leading to the contract's cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit. Despite the court ruling in favor of the department and a new contract being issued, government restrictions have halted progress. Dr. Parmar requested the Chief Minister to order the commencement of construction for the college building.

**Request for Budget Approval for State Highway No. 141**

**Nayagaon, July 20:** Dr. Dayaram Parmar, MLA from Kherwada, has written to the Chief Minister, Mr. Bhajanlal Sharma, requesting budget approval for State Highway No. 141 from Kalyanpur to Jhanzhri up to the Gujarat border for the financial year 2024-25.

Dr. Parmar explained that the highway, stretching 59 kilometers from Kalyanpur through Kherwada, Chhani, Kanbai, to Jhanzhri at the Gujarat border, has 27 kilometers of damaged road that urgently need repair. This road connects to the Bhiloda Tehsil headquarters in Gujarat, making it a crucial route with heavy traffic. Dr. Parmar requested the Chief Minister to approve the budget for this highway in the financial year 2024-25 to provide relief to the public.
