### Rajasthan Clinches "National Kudo Championship Trophy - 2024" with 98 Medals

Udaipur, In a stellar display of prowess and determination, Team Kudo Rajasthan secured a total of 98 medals, including 44 gold, 26 silver, and 28 bronze, at the second National Kudo Championship 2024, held at Green Hill University, Himachal Pradesh from May 24 to 31. This victory marks Rajasthan's seventh consecutive national championship title.


Under the leadership of Rajasthan's chief Kudo coach and 6th-degree black belt international trainer, Shihan Rajkumar Menaria, the team of 50 girls/women and 104 boys/men, along with 12 coaches/trainers, made history by dominating the championship.

According to Team Kudo Rajasthan's chairperson, Sensei Rajnandini, the contribution to this historic win came from various districts:

- **Udaipur**: 13 gold, 6 silver, 5 bronze (24 medals)
- **Bikaner**: 3 gold, 4 silver, 3 bronze (10 medals)
- **Alwar**: 5 gold, 4 silver, 7 bronze (16 medals)
- **Jodhpur**: 14 gold, 5 silver, 5 bronze (24 medals)
- **Dholpur**: 1 gold, 3 silver, 3 bronze (7 medals)
- **Jalore**: 6 gold, 0 silver, 1 bronze (7 medals)
- **Jaipur**: 2 gold, 0 silver, 2 bronze (4 medals)
- **Dungarpur**: 0 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze (4 medals)
- **Rajsamand**: 0 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze (2 medals)

The nine-day national Kudo training camp and championship were led by Kudo India's chief national instructor, Hanshi Mehul Vohra, with participation from 1500 men and women and over 100 trainers from 32 states and union territories.

Hanshi Mehul Vohra announced that the gold medalists from the previous three national championships will have the opportunity to participate in the selection trials for Team India for the "Kudo Asian Championship 2025" in Armenia.

The announcement of Rajasthan's victory was met with great enthusiasm from sports enthusiasts, Kudo players, and their families across the state. The triumphant athletes were celebrated with floral garlands, drums, and jubilant processions at district headquarters and railway stations.

Shihan Rajkumar Menaria commended the following athletes for their exceptional performances:

- **Udaipur**: Shivansh Sarkar, Linashree Dashora, Nikhil Jhalora
- **Jodhpur**: Rudra Joshi, Vihaan Sain
- **Bikaner**: Tanishq Sain
- **Alwar**: Vrinda Soni

- **Rajsamand**: Dhruvika Ranawat
- **Jalore**: Akshita Singh
