Udaipur, Over 900 accounting academicians from India and abroad are set to converge in Udaipur for the All India Accounting Conference & International Seminar, jointly organized by the Udaipur Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Rajasthan University. This seminar is being hosted for the first time at a deemed university.
A preparatory meeting was held at the Vice-Chancellor’s Secretariat auditorium under the chairmanship of Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot, where arrangements for the two-day seminar were discussed.
The seminar will be inaugurated by Governor of Rajasthan, Haribhau Kisnarao Bagde, on Sunday, October 12 at 10:30 AM at the School of Agriculture auditorium, Dabok. Dr. Manju Bagwar, State Minister for Public Works, Women & Child Development, and Child Rights, will be the Guest of Honour. Prof. Gaurav Vallabh will deliver the keynote address, while the session will be presided over by Prof. K.S. Thakur, Vice-Chancellor of Govind Guru Tribal University, Banswara.
Prof. Sarangdevot noted that over 900 accounting scholars from India and abroad will participate, and committees have been formed to ensure smooth arrangements, including accommodation in various city hotels. The conference will feature five technical sessions daily, with presentations and awards for the best papers. Topics include Artificial Intelligence in Accounting, Earnings Management, International Taxation, among others.
Prof. Shoorveer Singh Bhanawat, Secretary of ICAI, and other key organizers such as exam controller Dr. Paras Jain, Dr. Shilpa Lodha, Dr. Abhay Kumar Jaroli, Prof. I.J. Mathur, and many others attended the preparatory meeting to finalize logistics and proceedings.
This event marks a significant milestone for Rajasthan University, hosting this prestigious international accounting conference for the first time.
