Seva Parv 2025 – Rural and Urban Service Camps Benefit Thousands in Udaipur

Udaipur, Under the directive of Hon’ble Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, service camps organized across the state are bringing the government’s pledge of “No One Left Behind” to fruition. These rural and urban service camps are enabling citizens to avail of various government welfare schemes promptly, while also resolving pending public issues efficiently.

In Udaipur district, Seva Parv 2025 commenced on September 17, with well-coordinated camps conducted under the supervision of District Collector Namit Mehta. Panchayat and municipal-level camps are being held systematically, ensuring wide public participation. By September 4, a total of 204 rural camps had been organized in the district.

Relief Measures Provided in Rural Camps:

Revenue Department: 204 camps facilitated resolution of 466 land partition cases, disposal of 365 cases, registration of 1,061 farmer registry applications (729 approved), settlement of 424 name-change cases (250 resolved), and clearance of 3,234 cases under the Land Revenue Act, Section 136. Additionally, 12,488 domicile certificates and 12,624 caste certificates were issued.

Panchayati Raj: Ownership scheme implemented in 593 villages; map verification completed in 1,133 villages. Swachh Bharat Mission sanctioned 495 soak pits, magic pits, and leach pits. 604 beneficiaries added to Chief Minister Pension schemes, while 33 works approved for 2,301 BPL families with ₹1.763 crore allocation.

Rural Development: Surveys completed for 2,301 BPL families under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Poverty-Free Village scheme.

Forest Department: 50,275 saplings planted over 349.42 hectares, with 170 hectares completed; land identified for Namo Van and Namo Park projects.

Energy Department: 3,262 electricity complaints received, 2,942 resolved.

Women & Child Development: 772 beneficiaries registered under PM Matru Vandana Yojana; 2,284 beneficiaries had nutrition trackers and e-KYC completed; 31,875 citizens provided scheme information.

Health & Medical: 18,987 TB screenings, 1,624 child vaccinations, 43,868 people treated, 22,419 NCD screenings, and 338 women screened for breast and cervical cancer.

Animal Husbandry: 23,455 large and 40,903 small animals treated, 31,207 vaccinated, 4,621 insurance policies issued, 14,210 livestock owners benefited.

Agriculture: 1,551 farmers received mini-kits, 1,174 crop insurance policies distributed.

Tribal Development: Village Vision Plan 2030 implemented in 268 villages, 194 village assemblies approved plans, and unanimous approval for schemes granted on October 2.

Social Justice & Empowerment: 505 beneficiaries identified for assistive devices, 239 caretaker applications approved, 91 new beneficiaries received social security benefits.

Urban Service Camps:
Camps were organized by UDA, Udaipur Municipal Corporation, and local municipalities, providing relief in government fees and approvals.

Udaipur Municipal Corporation: 109,476 trade licenses issued, ₹11.90 crore UD tax collected, 1,598 building permits granted, 1,634 freehold pattas issued, 103 km road repairs and 95 km sewerage line improvements, 32 new streetlights installed.

Other municipalities including Fatehnagar, Vallabhnagar, Mavli, Khandai, Kherwada, Rishabdev, Semari, and Bhinder also conducted ongoing camps, providing trade licenses, building permits, sewerage connections, and PM-SWANidhi loan disbursement.

Udaipur Development Authority (UDA):
Participated alongside municipal camps, issuing 530 land pattas under approved schemes, generating ₹11.47 crore revenue; completed 550 land subdivision/restructuring applications, issued 239 allocation letters, implemented street and sewerage works, and provided 1,549 sewerage connections.

High Efficiency in Redressal:
District Collector Namit Mehta stated that over 200 rural and urban camps have been conducted, with resolution rates between 80–90%, strongly reflecting the government’s commitment to delivering services at the grassroots level.
