Tribute Paid to Sardar Patel on His 150th Birth Anniversary

Udaipur: A seminar was organized by Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed-to-be University) on Friday to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India and the architect of modern India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Presiding over the seminar, Prof. Sarangdevot stated that Sardar Patel’s contribution to shaping a unified India remains unforgettable. He emphasized that the younger generation must imbibe Patel’s spirit of nationalism and integrity to build a truly united nation that rises above divisions of caste and religion. “The collective unity of our nation is the cornerstone of our progress and the true bearer of our cultural and social heritage,” he added. Prof. Sarangdevot also highlighted Patel’s historic achievement in integrating over 564 princely states into the Indian Union.

NCC Officer Dr. Yuvraj Singh Rathore informed that, as part of the National Unity Day celebration, NCC cadets from Manikyalal Verma Shramjeevi College organized a Run for Unity rally, spreading the message of national solidarity. A large number of participants took part in the event with enthusiasm.

On this occasion, Registrar Dr. Tarun Shrimali, PG Dean Prof. G.M. Mehta, Controller of Examination Dr. Paras Jain, Dr. Yuvraj Singh Rathore, Dr. Hemant Sahu, Private Secretary Krishnakant Kumawat, Jitendra Singh Chauhan, Dr. Yagya Ameta, Dr. Chandresh Chhatlani, Lahranath, Dr. Vikas Dangi, Dr. Lalit, and other members offered floral tributes to Sardar Patel’s portrait. They collectively took an oath to uphold the values of unity and integrity in the nation.
