Railway Labor Union Submits Memorandum on 17 Burning Issues

Kota: Shobhana Bandopadhyay, Divisional Manager of Western Central Railways, was warmly welcomed by the West Central Railway Labor Union Kota Division upon her visit to Kota. During this occasion, the union representatives submitted a memorandum addressing 17 pressing issues faced by railway employees in the Kota Division.

Abdul Khalik, Secretary of the West Central Railway Labor Union Kota Division, stated that they extended a warm reception to the Divisional Manager and presented her with the memorandum outlining the concerns of the employees. The memorandum highlighted various issues such as the annual crew review, creation and closure of positions, and discussions on the problems arising from staff shortages in the Kota Division.

Furthermore, concerns regarding irregularities in the transfer of ticket checking staff were brought to the attention of the Divisional Manager. Khalik emphasized the necessity of formulating a separate policy for the transfer of ticket checking staff, as discrepancies in the implementation of the existing policy had led to dissatisfaction among employees. 

Key union representatives including Abdul Khalik, Bharatlal Meena, Ram Charan Meena, Chetan Sharma, Rakesh Sharma, Mahendra Singh Khinchi, Rajesh Kumar, KK Gautam, along with other labor union activists, were present during the submission of the memorandum.
