Prioritizing passenger safety, the West Central Railway, Kota Division conducted a thorough inspection drive under Operation Yatri Suraksha at Kota Railway Station. During the operation, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) team comprising Constables Manjit, Babulal, Sitaram, Sanjay, and Rai Singh apprehended two individuals involved in suspicious activities on Platform No. 4. The suspects were reportedly attempting to pickpocket passengers.
Upon questioning, the first individual was identified as Vishnu Tanwar, 24, a resident of Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh, who was found to have a prior criminal record. The second suspect was identified as Ramvilas, 40, from Jhalawar, Rajasthan. Both suspects were detained on the spot and thoroughly searched in the presence of passengers.
