Vibrant Celebrations Mark Ganagaur Utsav Organized by Sangini Forum

Udaipur: The Mahavir Study Hall at Ambamata was adorned with a spectrum of colors as the Jain Social Group International Federation's Sangini Forum hosted the Ganagaur Utsav. Ganagaur, a prominent festival of the Mevad region, holds a distinct place, evoking significant enthusiasm among women.

Addressing the gathering, esteemed guest Rajshree Gandhi highlighted that Ganagaur transcends being just a women's festival; it embodies the worship of Lord Shiva and Parvati, celebrated with reverence by women of all ages, adhering to traditional customs and rituals.

Chairman Anil Nahar praised the commendable efforts of the Sangini Forum, acknowledging its national recognition. He distributed kits received by the federation among the Sangini presidents.

Coordinator Madhu Khamesra revealed that over 400 women from the Sangini's 8 groups participated enthusiastically in the event, contributing to cultural programs from start to finish. Distinguished guests such as Region Chairman Anil Nahar, Vice Chairman Mohan Bohra, Arun Mandot, Mahesh Porwal, Shakuntala Porwal, Dr. Kaushalya Jain, Urmila Sisodiya, Manju Garg, Rekha Jain graced the occasion.

Co-coordinator Shikha Porwal highlighted the active involvement of Sangini Men, Lots, Mevad, Vijay, Lakeside, Bhama Shah, Unique, and Sangini Women Bhilwara, who presented remarkable performances during Ganagaur.

Dr. Kaushalya Jain announced the winners of various categories: Mamta Dangi and Kokila Jain for Best Ganagaur, First Runner-Up Usha Patwa, Second Runner-Up Prabha Jain and Sonal Mehta, Best Dress Hema Mehta, Best Hairstyle Asha Mogra, and Bhavna Sahalot. The event was skillfully managed by the emcee Manju Sarupariya.
