The 'Making Udaipur Proud Award Show'

The 'Making Udaipur Proud Award Show' took place in Lake City, with Nexus Celebration Mall hosting the event on Saturday. The ceremony aimed to honor 30 distinguished individuals across various fields who have contributed significantly to enhancing the prestige of Udaipur.

Gagan Sharma of Shades of Udaipur highlighted that the primary objective of this award show is to recognize those who have demonstrated exceptional performance in their respective fields for many years. Through this award, they aim to encourage and bring the achievements of these individuals to the public's attention. The main guests at the event included Kirti Rathore, the Chief Executive Officer of the District Council and artist, Shefali Bajaj, the Center Head of Nexus Celebration Mall, CEO of Udaipur Smart City, Krishnapal Singh Chauhan, Punit Sharma, Digvijay Singh Jagat, and D.L. Garg.

During the ceremony, renowned national photojournalist Tara Chand Gavariya and anchor Kaushik Shukla, along with 30 other talents, were honored with mementos and certificates of appreciation through the 'Making Udaipur Proud Award'. Gavariya was recognized for his commendable service in photojournalism over the past two decades. As a travel blogger and photojournalist, Gavariya has glorified the region of Mewar with his published photographs of national and international events in recent years, earning accolades at both national and international levels.

Similarly, anchor Kaushik Shukla has achieved notable milestones in the field of anchoring. Shukla's journey in anchoring began at Celebration Mall, and he has since performed in more than 1,000 shows across over 50 cities in 15 states of India. Over the past 12 years, Shukla has established his name in the entertainment industry, particularly being sought after for destination Marwari weddings for his anchoring skills.
