Udaipur — The multi-storey newly constructed campus “World of Humanity” of Narayan Seva Sansthan, one of India’s leading organizations working for the free treatment and rehabilitation of persons with disabilities for over four decades, was inaugurated on Sunday at Mali Colony, Udaipur.

Construction of the building began on 8 February 2020. Spread over nearly 2,40,000 sq. ft., the structure includes 11 floors in addition to three basements. Under one roof, the facility will house a 450-bed hospital, state-of-the-art operation theatres, an artificial limb workshop, physiotherapy centre, residential school, skill development centre, dining hall, and all essential services dedicated to supporting persons with disabilities.
Welcoming the guests, President Prashant Agarwal remarked that “World of Humanity” is not merely a grand building, but a gateway of opportunities for the differently-abled and underprivileged. He extended heartfelt gratitude to the philanthropists who contributed to its construction, adding that the campus will further accelerate the mission of enabling medical care, rehabilitation and economic empowerment for the disabled community.
Founder Kailash ‘Manav’ shared emotional reflections on the organization's journey since 1985.
“We have closely witnessed the struggles of persons with disabilities. When someone cannot walk, speak, or perform daily tasks without support, it is not only the body that suffers—the soul is wounded too. I am confident that this world of humanity will continue to shine through collective support and serve as a beacon of relief for those in pain,” he said.
Earlier, on 27 November, the building’s Vastu Puja was performed with the blessings of Tribal Development Minister Babulal Kharadi, Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasia, MLA Tarachand Jain, Former Assembly Speaker Shantilal Chaplot, and former MLA Preeti Shaktawat, followed by a ceremonial Mahapoojan of 101 young girls.
