Udaipur — A sense of joy and pride prevailed in the Rajput community on Sunday as representatives from the community were appointed as district presidents in both major political parties — the BJP and the Congress. Marking this moment, the Rajput Mahasabha Sansthan organized a felicitation ceremony at the newly constructed Rajput Bhawan at Raoji Ka Hata.
During the event, BJP City President Gajpal Singh Rathore, Congress City President Fatah Singh Rathore, Debari Mandal President Pratap Singh Rathore, and Advocate Satyendra Singh Sankhla were honored with Mewari Pagdi and Aparna by the Sansthan officials under the leadership of its President Sant Singh Bhati.
What made the ceremony noteworthy was the unique gesture of bringing leaders from two different political ideologies onto a common platform — an initiative widely appreciated within the community.
General Secretary Pradeep Singh Bhati said it is a matter of pride that the sons of the Rajput community are representing both major national political parties at the local level. “This is a moment of honor for the entire community,” he added.
Sansthan President Sant Singh Bhati stated that having Rajput leaders in influential positions within both organizations will strengthen the community’s voice in the political sphere. He urged both district presidents to continue working toward the upliftment and development of the community.
Debari Mandal President Pratap Singh Rathore praised the Rajput Mahasabha’s initiative and appreciated the significant contributions made by Sant Singh Bhati during his tenure.
BJP City President Gajpal Singh Rathore reaffirmed his commitment to the development of the Rajput community and appealed to community members to support talented youth so that economically weaker families can progress and become part of mainstream society.
Congress City President Fatah Singh Rathore also lauded the Rajput Mahasabha and called for unity within the community.
Senior leaders and members of the Sansthan present during the ceremony included Vice President Jai Singh Panwar, Hemraj Singh Bhati, Women’s Wing President Rekha Chundawat, former Councillor Rekha Kunwar Chauhan, General Secretary Manisha Rathore, and many others.
The event was conducted by Rajendra Singh Bhati, while the vote of thanks was delivered by General Secretary Pradeep Singh Bhati.
The program saw active participation and support from numerous officials and community members including Hitesh Singh, Gyan Singh Rajawat, Yashpal Singh Sisodia, Dalpat Singh Chauhan, Bhagwat Singh Krishnavat, Lokraj Singh Chauhan, Narendra Singh Solanki, Sher Singh Rathore, and many more.
