Udaipur — Member of Parliament Dr. Mannalal Rawat inspected the Rana Pratap Nagar Railway Station on Sunday evening and issued several directives to the railway officials.
Dr. Rawat reached the station accompanied by a large number of BJP office-bearers and workers. During the visit, he reviewed the ongoing development works and sought detailed information from the officials. He emphasized that future construction at the station should reflect the rich heritage of Mewar.
He suggested that a grand statue of Maharana Pratap should be installed at the station, which is named after the legendary warrior. He said that such an installation would give tourists an immediate sense of Mewar’s glorious history upon their arrival. He also recommended placing an old railway engine at the station premises to serve as an attraction for visitors and an educational element for the younger generation.
While inspecting the route towards Udaipur from Chittorgarh, Dr. Rawat expressed concern over the heavy litter found along the railway tracks. He instructed the officials to ensure proper cleanliness in coordination with the Municipal Corporation. He also directed them to improve lighting facilities at night for the convenience, safety and security of passengers.
Several party leaders and workers were present during the inspection, including BJP City District President Gajpal Singh Rathore, District General Secretary Devi Lal Salvi, former Chairman of the Municipal Corporation Garage Committee Manohar Chaudhary, Arvind Jaroli, Karanmal Jaroli, Veniram Salvi, Rana Pratap Mandal President Kanhaiyalal Vaishnav, Yuva Morcha President Surendra Singh Panwar, former Mandal President Jitendra Maru, and other prominent office-bearers.
