#### Dr. Mathur Honoured with 'Upbhokta Rashtriya Gaurav Samman'

Udaipur: Dr. Vipin Mathur, Principal and Controller of R.N.T. Medical College and Associated Hospitals, Udaipur, has been honoured with the Upbhokta Rashtriya Gaurav Samman by the Upbhokta Suraksha Sangathan, New Delhi. This prestigious award was presented on the occasion of Doctors’ Day in recognition of his outstanding contributions in the fields of medicine, education, and public health services, showcasing his innovative leadership, social commitment, and dedicated service.

Dr. Mathur has initiated several pioneering practices that have brought national recognition to R.N.T. Medical College. Notably, he implemented India’s first barcode-based digital registration system for patient records, establishing a benchmark for technological empowerment in healthcare. Under his guidance, innovative teaching methodologies were introduced, greatly enhancing the quality of medical education.

In an effort to make healthcare accessible to the last person in society, Dr. Mathur launched impactful social medical camps, offering free medical services to rural and underprivileged communities. His proactive efforts in promoting body donation, eye donation, and organ donation have not only set a personal example but also inspired many members of the organization to join these humanitarian missions.

During the event, the four-year-old pledge of Dr. Rajshree Gandhi, National President of Upbhokta Suraksha Sangathan, to donate her body was also remembered — a pledge that has since transformed into a wide-reaching social movement.

All dignitaries present on the occasion rededicated themselves to the cause of humanity and vowed to raise awareness about body and eye donation.

Along with Dr. Mathur, the organization also honoured several other medical professionals for their significant contributions, including Dr. Asma Khan, Dr. Vinay Jain, Dr. Lata Sharma, Staff Nurse Priya Odichya, Dr. Suhas Agrawal, Dr. Kusum Dhanawat (Ayurveda), and Dr. Jyoti Kulkarni (Unani).

The programme was presided over by Dr. Rajshree Gandhi, while coordination was handled by District Convenor Suresh Paliwal. A vote of thanks was delivered by District President Praveen Nahar. Prominent figures present included Paras Khurdia, Hemant Jha, Ram Nath Singh Chauhan, Sanjeev Sharma, and Bhupesh Khamesra, among others.

Dr. Vipin Mathur’s recognition with the Upbhokta Rashtriya Gaurav Samman is not only a matter of pride for R.N.T. Medical College but also a source of inspiration for the entire medical fraternity of the Udaipur division. The Upbhokta Suraksha Sangathan salutes such dedicated doctors and remains committed to kindling the flame of service, sensitivity, and innovation.
