“Bring Hindi, Save the Nation” two-day festival in Nathdwara

#### Hindi Day Celebration by Sahitya Mandal, Shrinathdwara

Nathdwara/Kota,  On the occasion of Hindi Day, Sahitya Mandal, Shrinathdwara will organize a two-day celebration under the theme “Hindi Lao, Desh Bachao” on September 13 and 14 in Nathdwara. Prime Minister of the institution, Shyam Prakash Devpura, informed that the event will feature literary discussions under the Hindi Upanishad, cultural performances, city tours, and a book exhibition. As a highlight, eminent litterateurs from 14 states will be conferred with honorary titles and decorations.

Literary and Cultural Highlights

The inaugural day will witness Upanishad discussions, a special Odissi dance presentation by Acharya Prof. Vrishbhanu Nandini, and the conferment of the prestigious Bhagwati Prasad Devpura Memorial Award to Prof. Girishwar Mishra, Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh), along with a cash prize of ₹11,000 and the title Sahitya Vagvibhuti.
Further, Hindi Shalaka Samman carrying ₹5,000 each will be presented to Dr. Rajendra Kumar Mishra (Odisha), Dr. Krishnalal Vishnoi (Bikaner, Rajasthan), Acharya Om Neerav (Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh), and Dr. Rahul (Delhi).
Prof. Vrishbhanu Nandini (Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh) will also be honoured with Kathak Nritya Shiromani Samman and a cash prize of ₹3,100.

Honorary Titles to Eminent Litterateurs

Several distinguished personalities will be recognised with honorary titles:

Hindi Kavi Shiromani: Dr. Navalkishor Bhabhra (Ajmer), Rajeshkumar Bhatnagar (Jaipur), Dr. Pushpa Singh Bisen (New Delhi), Rajendra Kumar Bhatnagar (Jaipur), Dr. Shyam Manohar Sirothia (Sagar), Shailesh Pandya ‘Bhinash’ (Kalol, Gujarat), and Dr. Akhilesh Nigam ‘Akhil’ (Lucknow).

Hindi Bhasha Shiromani: Dr. Urmila Rajpurohit (Bengaluru), Dr. Vijay Kumar Suryavanshi (Bengaluru), Dr. S. Kalyani (Chennai), Smt. S. Rajni (Chennai), Dr. Vyas Mani Tripathi (Port Blair, Andaman), Dr. Sushma Rani (Jammu & Kashmir), Smt. Anurupa Devi (Kamrup, Assam), Smt. Manomala Hazarika (Jorhat, Assam), Dr. Reshmi Panda Mukherjee (Kolkata), Dr. S. Preeti (Chennai), and Dr. Avadhesh Kumar (Wardha, Maharashtra).

Hindi Bhasha Vibhushan: Laxmilal Vairagi (Udaipur), Navneet Pandey (Bikaner), and Dr. Shashi Rani (Saharanpur).

Additionally, Journalist-Editor Ratna will be awarded to Pawan Gupta ‘Toofan’ (Jhansi), Rajnarayan Sharma (Chittorgarh), and Vijay Kumar Goyal (Agra). The Chikitsa-Sangeet-Shiksha Seva Ratna will go to Vaidya Hansraj Chaudhary (Railah) and Smt. Neeta Nigam (Lucknow).

Day Two: More Recognitions

On the second day, Journalist Praveen Upadhi will be conferred upon Umanshankar Mishra (Ghaziabad) and Kinjal Tiwari (Udaipur). Raktadan Veer Upadhi will go to Vaishali Hitesh Pandya (Ahmedabad).
The title Hindi Bhasha-Kavya Vibhushan will honour Vinay Das (Barabanki), Prajnandan Prasad Viyogi (Hugli), Dr. Somendra Kumar Panda (Kolkata), Dr. Puranmal Sharma ‘Poorn Nirdwandh’ (Bhushawar), Dr. Krishnadev Agrawal ‘Arvind’ (Delhi), Dr. Mahendra Khavre (Sagar), Krishnapal Singh Bhadauriya (Ahmedabad), Shivangi Singh (Kota), Upma Arya ‘Sahar’ (Lucknow), Dr. Shivkumar Ojha (Bengaluru), Mahaveer Singh (Jodhpur), Dr. Ankur Desai (Vadodara), Pt. Harishankar Dubey (Bhopal), Dr. Shiv Kumar Diwan (Bhopal), and Shiv Kumar Chandan (Rampur).

Winners of the National Hindi Story Competition 2025 will also be felicitated: First prize – Namita Singh ‘Aradhana’ (Ahmedabad), Second – Dr. Anju Saxena (Jaipur), and Third – Smt. Shobharani Goyal (Jaipur).
