Udaipur – Launched under the initiative of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the "Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Sambal Pakhwada" began on Tuesday and is proving to be a true blessing for the underprivileged. The first day of the campaign saw hundreds of citizens benefiting instantly from various government schemes through relief camps organized across several locations.
A Long-Standing Dream Comes True
In one such camp held at Gram Panchayat Rama under the Badgaon Panchayat Samiti, a long-standing dream of two brothers came to life. Bhairu Singh, son of Pyar Singh, a resident of Kharwado ki Bhagal (Rama), along with his co-sharers, had divided their ancestral land in village Jhindoali by mutual agreement, but the same had not been updated in revenue records. The division remained pending due to lack of documented consent. During the camp, Sub-Divisional Officer Nirma Bishnoi, Naib Tehsildar Ramesh Rajpurohit, and Pradhan Pratibha Nagda facilitated an on-the-spot resolution. Names were officially entered in revenue records and copies of the Jamabandi were handed over to each brother, leading to joyous celebrations and heartfelt gratitude toward the Chief Minister.
TB Patients Get Support from Nikshay Mitras
At the camp held in Sarangpura, Bhinder sub-division, three generous donors came forward as 'Nikshay Mitras' to support TB patients financially. Inspired by camp in-charge and SDM Ramesh Chandra Bahedia, villagers Arjun Singh Ranawat, Swaroop Singh Ranawat, and Bhagwat Singh Rao pledged to donate ₹500 per month for six months for the nutrition of each of the three patients. The emotional gesture brought tears to the eyes of beneficiaries. Present at the camp were Stamp Duty DIG Rajeev Dwivedi and Tehsildar Satish Patidar, who also praised the initiative.
Differently-Abled Girl Gets Monthly Pension
In Maharaj ki Khedi (Vallabhnagar), 12-year-old Riya, who has 80% disability, was sanctioned a monthly pension of ₹1,250 under the Chief Minister's Specially Abled Honor Pension Scheme. SDM Surendra B. Patidar, BDO Sunil Chauhan, and Sarpanch Tamu Bai handed over the sanction letter to her. Her father and family members expressed their heartfelt thanks to the administration and the Chief Minister.
