Udaipur – The 11th Wetland Regional Workshop was organized on July 3–4 in Udaipur under the aegis of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) and the State Wetland Authority, Rajasthan. Delegates from Rajasthan, Goa, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and DNH participated, sharing innovations and best practices for Ramsar sites. Joint Secretary Rajat Agarwal chaired the workshop. On the second day, participants visited Menar Ramsar site, where local leaders and villagers welcomed them. A plantation drive and award ceremony for WWF's painting competition winners were also held. Stakeholders signed MoUs to support wetland conservation initiatives.
