District-Level Review Meeting of Chief Minister Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan 2.0 Held in Udaipur

Udaipur: A district-level review meeting of the Chief Minister Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan (MJSA) 2.0 was held on Tuesday at the District Council Auditorium, under the guidance of the District Collector and in the presence of District Council CEO Ria Dabi.

During the meeting, Additional Chief Engineer (Project Manager, Watershed Cell & Data Centre) Atul Jain presented the progress of the campaign through a PowerPoint presentation, highlighting that 92.41% of the first-phase works of MJSA 2.0 have been completed so far.

The District Collector instructed that pending works under the first phase should be initiated immediately, and projects already 75% complete should be finalized within the week. He also directed that the progress of all works be updated on the online portal promptly.

Under the second phase of MJSA 2.0, 4,800 works have already received state-level approval, and district authorities were instructed to check pending works in planning and submit them for state approval. For the third phase, the process of selecting villages is currently underway, and authorities were instructed to complete village selection soon and obtain approvals from the Gram Sabha and Block-level committees.

Under the Jal Sanrakshan Jan Bhagidari 2.0 initiative, all departments were directed to regularly upload completed works on the portal and give priority to repairing and cleaning old water conservation structures. The meeting was attended by Deputy Conservator of Forests Mukesh Saini and all relevant officials.
