ISHRAE Udaipur Oath Ceremony Inspires Green Future

Udaipur witnessed a forward-looking milestone as the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) Udaipur Sub-Chapter hosted its 2026–27 oath-taking ceremony in a dignified and energetic atmosphere. The newly elected team pledged to steer the organization towards innovation, sustainability, and technical excellence.

Chief Guest Manish Galundia, President of UCCI, highlighted the growing importance of youth in shaping industrial progress. He appreciated ISHRAE’s structured annual roadmap and emphasized the urgent need to adopt green energy solutions and reduce carbon emissions. He noted that institutions like ISHRAE play a vital role in bridging the gap between government policies and industrial growth.

Regional Director S.R. Dhanasekaran administered the oath and underlined the rising demand for cooling solutions driven by rapid urbanization and construction. He stressed that even minor temperature variations significantly impact energy consumption, making efficiency and balanced usage critical.

The Core Working Committee includes Yash Sen as President, Dheeraj Tank as President-Elect, Lohit Arora as Secretary, and Mehboob Chhipa as Treasurer. Members including Shantanu Sharma, Chirag Jain, Yogesh Kotiya, Anita Jain, Nirmal Mali, Sudarshan Jain, Rakesh Bhati, Ranveer Solanki, and Raunak Surana also took the oath.

President Yash Sen outlined a clear vision, declaring the year as one of “Vision and Growth.” Key priorities include strengthening technical capabilities, promoting energy efficiency, and increasing awareness of green building practices. Upcoming highlights include the 7th Youth Leadership Program in July and the flagship “Energy Nexus” event in November, along with active participation in national-level technical forums.

Guest of Honour and National Chair of Decarbonization Ashu Gupta raised concerns about the underrepresentation of engineering in national discourse, noting that the rising demand for cooling reflects broader climate challenges. He emphasized the importance of green buildings, energy conservation, and improved indoor air quality.

Jaipur Chapter President Irfan Zuberi expressed confidence that the active involvement of youth will soon elevate the Udaipur Sub-Chapter to a full chapter. Dheeraj Tank delivered a thought-provoking motivational address on “Winning the Market but Losing Yourself,” encouraging professionals to balance ambition with personal integrity.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of mementos to distinguished guests and a vote of thanks by Founder Member Ashok Jain, leaving attendees inspired towards a sustainable and progressive future.
