###Three Generations of Craftsmanship Go Direct to Customers

Udaipur welcomed a refreshing blend of tradition and modern retail as the Chaparwal family, known for its three-generation legacy in handcrafted silver jewellery, furniture, and artefacts, launched its first direct-to-customer outlet under the brand Make My Craft. The factory outlet was inaugurated by Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar at Saheli Palace Hotel on Saheli Marg.

For years, the family operated under a B2B model, supplying products across India and exporting internationally. Director Pramod Chaparwal shared that this new initiative marks a strategic shift—bringing premium, handcrafted products directly to consumers at fair and transparent prices.

Director Sharad Chaparwal emphasized that the vision is to connect both domestic and international tourists visiting Udaipur with authentic local craftsmanship. By eliminating middle layers, the outlet ensures better value for customers while also strengthening the local artisan ecosystem.

The initiative not only enhances accessibility to high-quality handmade silver creations but also aims to revive appreciation for traditional craftsmanship in a contemporary market. Encouraged by the response, the founders plan to expand this model to other key tourist destinations across Rajasthan, with the next showroom already planned in Nathdwara.

The launch event saw the presence of several prominent citizens, who appreciated the concept as a meaningful step toward promoting local art, empowering craftsmen, and offering visitors a genuine cultural shopping experience.
