On 26 November 2025, Rajasthan College of Agriculture, under Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, celebrated Constitution Day under the theme “My Constitution – My Pride.”
Assistant Dean (Student Welfare) Dr. S.S. Lakhawat informed that around 100 students administered the oath of the Preamble to the Constitution. After the oath ceremony, Dr. Lakhawat briefed the students about the key features of the Indian Constitution.
Dr. Hari Singh Meena, In-charge of the National Service Scheme, highlighted the significance of the Constitution, stating, “The Constitution defines our rights and duties; understanding and adhering to it is the fundamental responsibility of every citizen.”
Ram Narayan Kumhar explained that the Constitution is the supreme law of the country, declaring India a sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic republic, and guaranteeing justice, liberty, and equality to all citizens. He added that the primary objective of celebrating Constitution Day is to promote respect and awareness of constitutional values among citizens and to remember the immense contribution of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Constitution.
Other faculty members were also present during the event.
