National Girl Child Day Celebrated with Grandeur and Enthusiasm

Banswara: A vibrant celebration marked the observance of National Girl Child Day at Government Higher Secondary School Amarthon. The event commenced with a massive rally led by Sarpanch Rajendra Kumar Charpota, featuring 1631 girls from various schools under the school's nodal. The rally transformed the Raja Basiya Ji Charpota Square into a vibrant assembly.

Before this, the gathering paid tribute to the founder of Banswara, Raja Basiya Ji Charpota, who is renowned for creating numerous ponds like Dialab, Rajatalab, Nathelav, Boy Talab, along with constructing hundreds of wells, sarais, and bawdis. His legacy continues to thrive in the Bhagnavesh district.

On Girl Child Day, the talented girls were welcomed with a traditional ceremony, where they adorned themselves with a three-colored headscarf, a turban, and a shawl. Meanwhile, the girls' student union, led by Prime Minister Sushri Shakuntala Ninama, conducted a staff meeting under the guidance of Acting Principal Sushri Anita Kataria.

The day's activities included morning prayers, academic sessions, staff meetings, an exam on Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy of Sarvodaya, a tobacco-free school campaign, Udice initiatives, ensuring national road safety, free bicycle distribution, and linking Aadhar cards to bank accounts.

During the celebration, prominent figures like Nisha Bhagora, Lalita Ninama, Guddi Bhagora, Lalita Kataria, Risha Charpota, Monika Ninama, Lalita Charpota, Manisha Charpota, Bhuri Ninama, Kareena Charpota, Himanshi Mayda, Mamta Ninama, and Lalita Ninama conducted teaching sessions across different classes.

The program concluded with addresses by PEO Arun Vyas, Kachru Lal Charpota, Prajna Adhikari, Smt. Raina Ninama, Anoop Mehta, Mayur Padiyar, Mukesh Patel, Kapil Varma, Badan Lal Damor, Dilip Meena, Dayashankar Charpota, Bherulal Dodiyar, Jeevan Lal Ninama, Nasir Ali Ansari, and acknowledgment by Raina Ninama and gratitude by Prajna Adhikari.
