Udaipur: On the occasion of National Vaccination Day, an awareness program was organized on Monday in Umarda under the joint initiative of the NSS Cell of Sai Tirupati University and the Nursing College.
The program began in the morning at the Nursing College, Umarda, with a Vaccination Awareness Pledge Ceremony, where NSS volunteers and the unit in-charge took a pledge to spread awareness in society about the importance of vaccination.
Following the pledge ceremony, an awareness rally was conducted in Umarda village. Through the rally, villagers were informed about the importance and benefits of vaccination and encouraged to ensure timely immunization. Volunteers raised slogans and shared messages to promote public health awareness among the community.
On this occasion, Dr. Vijay Singh Rawat, Principal of Venkateshwar College of Nursing, Vikas Kumar Dadhich, NSS Unit In-charge, Rupendra Singh Shaktawat, Head of the Community Health Department, Dr. Suresh, Program Officer Dr. Avantika, and several other dignitaries were present. They shared their views on the importance of vaccination and emphasized the need to spread awareness in society.
