#### Basic Neonatal Resuscitation Workshop to Be Held at Geetanjali Hospital

Udaipur,  In view of the high neonatal and child mortality rates in India, Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital, under the aegis of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics and the National Neonatology Forum, will host a Basic Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) workshop. The program is scheduled for October 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Audio-Visual Hall of the Central Library at the college.

The workshop aims to train doctors and medical students in the essential techniques and protocols for saving the lives of newborns immediately after birth. The course will be coordinated by Dr. Sushil Gupta, with expert faculty members Dr. Anuradha Sanidhya, Dr. Avinash Bothra, Dr. Rahul Khatri, and Dr. Ankit Kumar Panchal providing hands-on training.

Approximately 40 participants from Udaipur and Geetanjali Medical College will attend. The primary goal of the workshop is to enhance the capacity to save newborn lives and take concrete steps toward reducing infant mortality in India.
