The Department of Surgery at Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital successfully organized the “GMCH Surgery Update ’26” on April 25 and 26. This two-day academic workshop saw enthusiastic participation from surgery residents of six medical colleges in the Udaipur region. Approximately 150 participants, including residents and consultants, attended the program.
The primary objective of the event was to promote exam-oriented learning. High-yield long and short case presentations were conducted, helping participants strengthen their clinical knowledge and exam preparation. A lively quiz competition was also held, creating a competitive and interactive learning environment.
During the workshop, senior surgeons from Udaipur evaluated the residents’ case presentations and provided valuable guidance, benefiting participants both practically and academically.
Dr. Sanjeev Agrawal, Head of the Department of Surgery, stated in his address, “Such workshops are extremely beneficial for residents as they not only enhance clinical knowledge but also prepare them effectively for examinations. Our aim is to promote excellence in surgical education.”
