"True love is felt only with the right partner": YRF and Mohit Suri to release 'Humsafar'

By Jit, Mumbai:Yash Raj Films and filmmaker Mohit Suri’s upcoming romantic film SAYARA is fast emerging as one of the year’s most celebrated music albums. With three hit songs already released — the title track Sayara, Jubin Nautiyal’s Barbaad, and Vishal Mishra’s Tum Ho Toh — the film's music has struck a chord with audiences across the country.

Now, the fourth song from the album, titled Humsafar, is set for release. Sung by the popular musical duo Sachet–Parampara, this track marks their first collaboration with director Mohit Suri. The theme of the song — “Love only truly blossoms when the companion is right” — promises to take listeners deep into the world of romance once again. Given the reputation of both the artists and the director, expectations are soaring.

Ahead of the release, YRF unveiled a romantic still from the song featuring the lead pair Ahaan Panday and Anit Padda. The image offers a glimpse into their intense chemistry and hints at a heartfelt love story waiting to unfold.

SAYARA marks the first collaboration between Yash Raj Films and Mohit Suri — both renowned for their expertise in crafting memorable love stories. The film's title Sayara, which means “a wandering celestial body,” is often used in poetry to describe something dazzling, dreamlike, and unattainable — a metaphorical star that guides but remains out of reach.

The film introduces Ahaan Panday as YRF’s newest leading man, while Anit Padda, acclaimed for her performance in Big Girls Don’t Cry, takes on the role of the female lead.

Produced by Akshaye Widhani, CEO of Yash Raj Films, SAYARA is slated for a global theatrical release on 18 July 2025.
