Dr. Krishna Chauhan to Host ‘Mahatma Gandhi Ratna Award 2025’ on October 2

Mumbai (Andheri): The Krishna Chauhan Foundation will host the ‘Mahatma Gandhi Ratna Award 2025’ on October 2 at the Mayor Hall in Mumbai. The award ceremony will honor individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the fields of social service and humanitarian work.

Founder and director of the Krishna Chauhan Foundation, Dr. Krishna Chauhan, will be organizing the Mahatma Gandhi Ratna Award in Mumbai for the fifth time. The renowned filmmaker and social worker is reportedly very excited about this year’s event.

Originally from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Krishna Chauhan has been active in Bollywood for the past 25 years. He began his cinematic journey as an assistant director and has since produced several ad films and music videos. Widely recognized not only as a successful film director and social worker but also as a prominent personality in award function organization, Dr. Chauhan has made a mark in both cinema and community service.

For the past eight years, he has maintained a tradition of distributing the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita during Janmashtami celebrations. Following the success of his Hindi music album ‘Zikr Tera’, Dr. Chauhan remains highly active in the entertainment industry. His horror-thriller film ‘Aatma.com’ has all its songs recorded under the music direction of Dilip Sen. Additionally, shooting for his three music videos – ‘Jai Jai Maharashtra’, ‘Babu Ji’, and ‘Jod De Dil Se Dil Ki Kadi’ – has been completed.

The Mahatma Gandhi Ratna Award 2025 ceremony is expected to bring together eminent personalities from social service, film, and music, highlighting excellence in community work and artistic contributions.
