Udaipur witnessed a soulful confluence of music and literature as the “Sangeet Milan Samaroh” was beautifully organized at Aishwarya College by the Shayrana Udaipur family, which has been connecting society with the essence of music and literary expression for the past 15 years.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Lokesh Vaishnav, Additional Development Officer, Zila Parishad, while the program was presided over by Mr. Ashok Pariyani. Educationist Mr. Manish Joshi attended as the Guest of Honour.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Mr. Lokesh Vaishnav emphasized the importance of collective participation in connecting innovative ideas with society through music and literature, highlighting their positive and lasting social impact.
Chairperson Mr. Ashok Pariyani described music and literature as powerful mediums of culture, stating that they play a significant role in establishing new dimensions within society.
Guest of Honour Mr. Manish Joshi referred to music and literature as mirrors of society and strong instruments for nurturing values, adding that these art forms help connect the younger generation with social and cultural roots.
The program commenced ceremoniously with the lighting of the lamp by the distinguished guests.
The musical segment began with Mr. Lokesh Vaishnav presenting “Dil Par Kahin Koi Zor Chalta Nahin,” followed by Mr. Ashok Pariyani’s rendition of “Tumhi Mere Mandir Tumhi Meri Pooja.” Mrs. Devyani Sharma mesmerized the audience with a classic Lata Mangeshkar song “Dil Mein Tujhe Bithakar,” while Mrs. Anuradha Shirish Mathur captivated everyone with “Milti Hai Zindagi Mein Mohabbat Kabhi Kabhi.”
Mr. Hemant Suryavanshi moved the audience with “Ram Teri Ganga Maili Ho Gayi,” and Mr. Utpal Naresh Rajoriya won hearts with “Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum.” Mr. Lalit Goyal performed “Dekha Ek Khwab,” while Mehboob Ji enthralled the audience with his soulful poetry. Mr. Manish Joshi further created a lively atmosphere by singing Kishore Kumar’s evergreen song “Aate Jaate Khoobsurat Aawara Sadkon Par.”
The event saw an impressive turnout of music lovers and literature enthusiasts. Representatives from Aishwarya College, including Mr. Shamil and Mr. Surendra Jakhad, were also present on the occasion.
All participating artists left the audience spellbound with their heartfelt performances. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the event in-charge, Mr. Manish Choubisa.
