##### Retired Banker Pledges to Donate Body

Kota – Shri Harish Kumar Gupta, a resident of Shrinathpuram and retired officer from Baroda Regional Rural Bank, Kota, has taken a noble step by pledging his body donation. Gupta has been associated with Shine India Foundation since 2012 when he had first signed the eye donation pledge form. Since then, he has been actively supporting awareness campaigns for eye donation, organ donation, and body donation.

Two days ago, on the occasion of his 60th birthday, Gupta filled the body donation pledge form with the consent of his wife Asha, daughter Khushboo, and son Vishwas. While making the pledge, he expressed that the study of human anatomy is not possible without donated bodies. For medical students, cadavers serve as the best source of learning and practical knowledge. With this belief, he decided to dedicate his body for medical education after death.

It is noteworthy that in the last three years, 323 individuals from the Hadoti region have signed body donation pledge forms with Shine India Foundation. Additionally, the foundation has successfully facilitated more than 40 body donations to medical colleges in the region, contributing significantly to the training of future doctors
