Personalized Medicine Will Shape the Future of Healthcare: Dr. Kirti Kumar Jain

Udaipur: Dr. Kirti Kumar Jain, Chairman of GBH Group and a renowned cancer specialist practicing in the United States, said that “Precision Medicine” — or person-specific healthcare — is emerging as one of the most revolutionary directions in modern medical science. In the coming years, treatment will not be based solely on diseases, but will instead be tailored according to an individual’s genetic makeup, lifestyle, and biological characteristics.

Addressing a ceremony held at the Vigyan Samiti campus, Dr. Jain elaborated on the evolution of medical science from traditional treatment methods to future healthcare systems driven by genomics, artificial intelligence, biomarkers, and continuous health monitoring. He stated that the convergence of science, medicine, and technology will enable prediction of diseases, early diagnosis, and highly precise treatments in the future.

The special event was jointly organized by Vigyan Samiti, Institution of Engineers, Mining Engineers Association of India, and Dr. D.S. Kothari Institute. Dr. Kirti Kumar Jain was the keynote speaker at the ceremony and was honoured with the Dr. D.S. Kothari Excellence Award – 2026.

The chief guest of the event was Prof. Kailash Sodani. The program began with a welcome address by Dr. Mahip Bhatnagar, while Dr. K.L. Kothari presented the background and significance of the Dr. D.S. Kothari Award.
