Over 1,100 Rural Residents Benefit from Health Camps Organized by Hindustan Zinc in Rajasthan and Uttarakhand

Under its CSR health initiative, Hindustan Zinc, in collaboration with Mamta HIMC, successfully conducted health camps in the regions surrounding its units at Agucha, Chanderiya, Zawar, Dariba, and Pantnagar. Through these camps, a total of 1,101 people received high-quality healthcare services, including 561 women and 540 men.

To ensure maximum participation and convenience, door-to-door transportation was provided, enabling residents from remote areas to access the healthcare services. The camps featured experienced teams of gynecologists, orthopedic specialists, and general physicians who provided both personalized and comprehensive consultations. Essential health checks, including hemoglobin testing, blood pressure measurement, and random blood sugar screening, were also conducted. Free medicines were distributed to those in need.

This initiative has emerged as an empowering model for rural and tribal communities. It has helped bridge gaps in access to healthcare and ensured timely medical assistance for those in need. Under Hindustan Zinc’s CSR health projects, over 200,000 rural residents are benefitted annually.
