Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani interacted with NRIs in Germany

New Delhi/Jaipur,Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani had a cordial and lively interaction with NRIs at the Indian Embassy in Berlin on Tuesday.

NRIs put forward important suggestions to Devnani, on which Devnani assured to get them resolved with the concerned ministers.

During the interaction with Devnani, Rajasthan Foundation President Hargovind Singh Rana suggested the establishment of a 'language park' in Rajasthan, where a new cultural stream of training and communication could be started for the students keeping the German language at the center. Keeping in mind the employment-oriented approach, he also proposed to add skill development and certification courses of international standards to the education system for the youth, so that their preparation towards migration and employment could be accelerated. Deepak Patil underlined the need for direct flights between Berlin and major cities of India, especially Delhi or Mumbai, so that NRIs, students and business travellers can get direct and convenient connectivity. 

The possibilities of entrepreneurship were also discussed in this dialogue with Devnani, where Kamal Maan said that Punjabi entrepreneurs settled in Germany are keen to invest in Rajasthan and for this they expect guidance, transparency and facilities from the state government. 

Shailaja Patil underlined the human aspect of visa rules and urged Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Devnani to ensure long-term visa facility for the parents of Indians settled in Germany, so that the family can stay together for a long time and the dignity of family values ​​is maintained. At the same time, Gopinath, referring to the Shri Ganesh temple being built by the Indian community in Berlin, expressed the expectation of cultural support from the Government of India so that the presence of Indian culture abroad can be strengthened further.

Vasudev Devnani listened to all the suggestions with patience and sensitivity and assured that he would seriously present all these issues before the concerned ministries and departments. He said that the NRIs are the true cultural representatives of India and their thoughts, experiences and views enrich not only the state but also the country. He assured the NRIs that the Rajasthan government is committed to every such idea and initiative that is in public interest, inspires innovation and promotes international cooperation. This dialogue not only proved to be an inspiring opportunity to take India-Germany relations to new heights, but also demonstrated that Indian culture, language, education and business - all of these can go beyond borders and move towards a shared future.
