Motorized Tricycles Distributed to 70 Differently-Abled Individuals on PM Modi’s 75th Birthday

Udaipur: On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, a special ceremony was held on Wednesday at the campus of Shramjeevi College, Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, to distribute motorized tricycles to 70 differently-abled individuals. The initiative was organized under the CSR program of Power Finance Corporation Limited and executed by the Indian Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation.

The distribution ceremony was inaugurated by chief guests including MP Mannalal Rawat, Rural MLA Phulsingh Meena, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, Executive Director Ali Shah, BJP city district president Gajpal Singh Rathod, General Secretary Paras Singhvi, Devilal Salvi, Pankaj Borana, BJP Disaster Relief State Coordinator Dr. Jinendra Shastri, and Managing Director Harish. Upon receiving the tricycles, the faces of the beneficiaries lit up with joy, and all expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Prime Minister, even resolving to write him letters of thanks.

Director Ali Shah shared that the 70 tricycles, costing a total of ₹42 lakh, were handed over to the recipients by the dignitaries. So far, the organization has distributed assets worth ₹90 lakh. The battery-operated tricycles require no additional expenses for the users.

MP Mannalal Rawat highlighted that Prime Minister Modi has made significant efforts to integrate all sections of society into the mainstream, emphasizing that while many governments have come before, it was Modi who took decisive action.

Presiding officer Dr. S. B. Nagar mentioned that several notable individuals and workers attended the event, including Dr. Dharmendra Rajoura, Krishnakant Kumawat, Daliram Yadav, Dr. Jaisingh Jodha, Dr. Bhavna, former councillor Devendra Sahu, Rakesh Jain, Neelu, Sushil, Pukhraj, and Shri Thakur Verma. The program was conducted by Girish Bhatnagar and Neha, while Dr. S. B. Nagar extended the vote of thanks.
