Ajmer/Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma attended the three-day Hanumant Katha organized at the pilgrimage town of Pushkar on Tuesday. He felicitated Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the head of Bageshwar Dham, and listened to the discourse with deep devotion.
While attending the Katha, the Chief Minister emphasized that such spiritual events illuminate the light of Sanatan culture and play a crucial role in fostering a deep understanding of Indian cultural and spiritual values, particularly among the youth. He noted that these gatherings strengthen moral values, national pride, and cultural heritage in society.
Highlighting Pushkar’s unique geographical and spiritual significance, the CM said the town is not only a center of faith but also a symbol of extraordinary natural beauty.
The Chief Minister stated that the government is committed to the comprehensive and well-planned development of major pilgrimage sites, including Pushkar, Giriraj Ji, Khatushyam Ji, and Balaji, to provide devotees with more convenient and organized pilgrimage experiences. He reaffirmed that the government is continuously working for the preservation of culture, spiritual heritage, and Sanatan traditions.
Ritual Worship at Brahma Temple
CM Bhajanlal Sharma performed rituals and worship at the world-famous Brahma Temple, praying for the prosperity and well-being of the people of the state. He said that Pushkar is a unique confluence of spiritual consciousness, cultural heritage, and Sanatan faith. The Brahma Temple holds global recognition and stands not only as a center of devotion but also as a symbol of the state’s cultural pride.
The event was attended by Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Bhagirath Chaudhary, Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat, Education Minister Madan Dilawar, other public representatives, officials, and a large number of devotees.
