Jaipur – As an important initiative aimed at strengthening the marketing and branding of products made by women Self-Help Groups (SHGs), the “Rajeevika Rangotsav” was grandly inaugurated at the Secretariat premises. The event was inaugurated by Chief Secretary V. Srinivas. The occasion was graced by Shreya Guha, Additional Chief Secretary, Rural Development Department, and Neha Giri, State Mission Director of Rajasthan Grameen Aajeevika Vikas Parishad (Rajeevika).
On this occasion, the Chief Secretary appreciated the efforts of women Self-Help Groups and stated that such marketing platforms organized by Rajeevika provide new direction to women entrepreneurship and play a significant role in strengthening the rural economy. The Additional Chief Secretary described the products manufactured by the women’s groups as excellent examples of quality, innovation, and traditional craftsmanship.
During the event, officials visited the Rajeevika stalls and interacted with women entrepreneurs to learn about their products, packaging, and marketing strategies. The State Mission Director informed that such events provide SHGs with direct market access, enabling them to receive customer feedback and further improve their products.
Rajeevika Rangotsav is being held at the State Secretariat from February 25 to 27, 2026. A total of 15 Self-Help Groups from 13 districts of Rajasthan are participating in the fair, with 10 stalls set up for the exhibition and sale of products. These include herbal gulal (colored powder), traditional food items, gujiya, thandai products, herbal goods, gift and decorative items, soft toys, wooden crafts, and crochet products. In view of the upcoming Holi festival, special emphasis has been placed on eco-friendly and herbal products.
The objective of Rajeevika Rangotsav is to provide market recognition to enterprises run by women’s groups, strengthen the “Rajasakhi” brand, and promote women’s livelihoods across the state. The event marks a significant step toward boosting sales and offering better market platforms to Self-Help Groups.
