Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma Launches Statewide Cleanliness Awareness and Pledge Campaign

Udaipur: Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma inaugurated the statewide Cleanliness Pledge and Awareness Program on Saturday from Albert Hall. Participating in the state-level event, the Chief Minister actively contributed to the labor efforts, sending a strong message on the importance of cleanliness.

During the program, the Chief Minister distributed PPE kits to municipal sanitation workers and handed over symbolic cheques under the Prime Minister’s Swanidhi Scheme. He also administered the citizens’ cleanliness pledge to all attendees, emphasizing that maintaining cleanliness is a civic duty.

In addition, Chief Minister Sharma conducted tree plantation at Ramniwas Bagh as part of the initiative. The event saw participation from MP Madan Rathore, MLA Gopal Sharma, Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, officers from various departments, Cleanliness Brand Ambassador K.K. Gupta, a large number of municipal sanitation workers, and members of the public.

It is noteworthy that, following Chief Minister Sharma’s initiative, Rajasthan Day will be celebrated again this year on Chaitra Shukla Pratipada (March 19). In connection with this, multiple programs are being organized across the state from March 14 to 19.
