Jaipur: Children of SAPTA SHAKTI ASHA SCHOOL celebrated its annual day with great zeal and enthusiasm, showcasing their special abilities, skill, and talent. The event witnessed the presence of Mrs Barinder Jit Kaur, Regional President AWWA, Sapta Shakti Command, Mrs Rajlaxmi Shekhawat, Regional Vice President AWWA and various other dignitaries of Jaipur from the field of social service including Mrs Anila Kothari, Trustee, Bhagwan Mahavir Jain Cancer Hospital.
The annual report illustrated the initiatives taken for development of students & teachers and highlighted the achievements of the students, winning 21 medals in various National and State level competitions like Special Olympics Bharat, National Championship and Special Olympics Bharat State Selection Camp. These achievements were the outcome of the hard work of students, staff as well as by the availability of state of the art facilities like audiometry lab, hydrotherapy pool etc to help develop the student's senses and motor skills.
The much-awaited performance of the evening by the children of Sapta Shakti Asha School left the audience awestruck by their display of exceptional talent. The precision and confidence displayed by the children merit special mention. SAPTA SHAKTI ASHA SCHOOL stands as a distinguished institution committed to empowering specially abled children from both military and civilian backgrounds, providing them with a nurturing environment, specialised training and unwavering support to help them realise their full potential. The seamless blend of care and capability on display was a testament to the school's dedicated efforts. Further, the Regional President AWWA felicitated the children for their outstanding performances and achievements.
During her address to the gathering, Regional President AWWA further reiterated about the resolve of Sapta Shakti Command, working tirelessly towards inclusivity of the specially abled children into the society. She also applauded the patience and efforts of the teachers and staff of SAPTA SHAKTI ASHA SCHOOL, and not to forget the parents of the children, for working as a ‘Team’ to ensure a better tomorrow for these children.
