Geetika Pandey to Join Railway Board as Additional Member (Planning); Farewell Held at NWR Headquarters

Jaipur: Geetika Pandey, Principal Financial Advisor of North Western Railway, has been appointed as Additional Member (Planning) in Railway Board at Level-16. She has been relieved from her current post and will now assume her new responsibility following her promotion.

A heartfelt farewell ceremony was organized in her honor, which was attended by a large number of officers and staff members. During the program, her impactful leadership, administrative efficiency, and significant contributions toward the modernization of the railway accounting system during her tenure were specially highlighted. It was noted that several infrastructure-strengthening initiatives were successfully executed in North Western Railway under her leadership, along with effective management of budget-related functions.

Railway employees expressed gratitude for her guidance, leadership, and working style, and extended their best wishes for her future endeavors.

Addressing the gathering, Geetika Pandey appreciated the efforts of railway employees of North Western Railway and thanked the entire team for their support. She stated that the achievements of the accounts department were the result of collective effort and mutual cooperation, and congratulated all officers and staff for their contributions. She also extended her gratitude and wished everyone a bright future.

A senior officer of the Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS), Geetika Pandey has rendered exemplary services in North Western Railway. Prior to this, she has served in various important positions across different railway zones, including Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Jodhpur Division. Notably, she was the first woman DRM of the Jodhpur Division. During her tenure, she was recognized for her excellent performance, innovation, employee welfare initiatives, and efficient administration.
