Jaipur : The Vishwa Sindhi Hindu Foundation of Associations (VSHFA) organized its first General Body Meeting and Youth Conference in Mumbai. Rajasthan Assembly Speaker, chief patron of the organization and prominent Sindhi community leader Shri Vasudev Devnani addressed the gathering and laid special emphasis on the unity of the Sindhi community. He said that the Sindhi society has always remained united and that this unity is its greatest strength.

Shri Devnani appealed to the youth to adopt Cultural Intelligence and Soul Development in the age of AI. He stressed that during the preparations for the upcoming ‘World Youth Seminar 2026’ in Mumbai, equal focus must be given to youth empowerment, technological progress, and Indian culture.

Skill Development along with Soul Development

Shri Devnani clearly stated that in the modern era, technical skills alone are not enough. The youth must become “modern in technology and Indian in soul.” He emphasized the need to focus on professional training, innovation, self-employment, and digital skills. At the same time, equal importance must be given to Soul Development — character building, moral values, spiritual growth, and positive thinking. He asserted that the trinity of Knowledge + Skills + Values will form the strong foundation for a Developed India @2047.

Artificial Intelligence vs Cultural Intelligence

Shri Devnani said that while Artificial Intelligence is making machines smarter, it is Cultural Intelligence, sensitivity, ethics, and Indian philosophy that will guide humanity. He urged the youth to study the Ramayana, Gita, and Sanatan traditions, as they contain both scientific perspectives and life values.

Politics, Leadership and Nation Building

Shri Devnani appealed to the youth to rise above casteism and regionalism and adopt the spirit of “Nation First.” He asked them to follow the principle of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family) and participate in tolerant, educated, and value-based politics. He advised them not to rise by pulling others down, but to choose the path of positive and clean politics. He particularly discussed developing leadership qualities, social responsibility, and freeing oneself from a “partition mindset” in politics.

While addressing Sindhi youth specifically, Shri Devnani said that Sindhi youth can play a crucial role in maintaining India’s integrity and unity. Today’s youth are the foundation pillars of the country’s progress, integrity, and social harmony. They should contribute to nation-building through their knowledge, skills, dedication, and patriotism.

On this occasion, he wholeheartedly praised Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership and various welfare schemes of the government (Ayushman Bharat, Startup India, education, employment, and farmer welfare schemes). He said that under Modi ji’s leadership, the country is reaching new heights of development and these schemes are empowering the entire nation, including the Sindhi community.

At the end of the program, he gave the slogan “Jiye Sindh, Vade Hind” (Long live Sindh, Glory to India), which resonated across the hall.

Present on the occasion were:
Shri Shankar Lalwani (MP), Dr. Gurmukh Jagwani (National President), Dr. Peetambar (Peter) Dhalwani (National Treasurer), Satendra Kumar Bhavnani (Joint Treasurer), Bharat Dudani (CA), Kishore Kumar Parwani (Secretary), Dr. Raju V.
