Annual Day Celebration and Bhamashah Honor Ceremony

Jaisalmer, Swami Vivekananda Government Model School in Jaisalmer organized its Annual Day celebration along with the Bhamashah Honor Ceremony on Tuesday. The event witnessed the presence of prominent guests, including social worker Virendra Singh Ramgarh, District Collector Pratap Singh Jaisalmer, Chief District Education Officer Nenaram Jhani, and Ward Councilor Nirmal Riyani.

The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp before Goddess Saraswati, followed by a traditional dance offering and Saraswati Vandana. Principal Mohabbat Lal Khimawat presented the annual report, and then a cultural extravaganza unfolded with performances such as the welcome song, Rajasthani folk dances, patriotic songs, Gujarati Garba, and classical dances, presenting a total of 15 programs.

During the ceremony, the school honored Bhamashahs (outstanding students) with certificates and scarves. Additionally, former students who achieved success in various fields were acknowledged, including Bhomsingh Bhati for selection in the Army Commandos, Sachin Paliwal for clearing the NEET exam, Ajaypal Singh, Chainsukh, and Khushbu for participating in the state-level school sports and modeling competition.

District Collector Pratap Singh, addressing the gathering, emphasized the importance of these days in the lives of students and encouraged them never to forget their roots. He also spoke about fear-free education.

Certificates of appreciation were also presented to students who secured the first, second, and third positions in board examinations and local exams in each class. The Chief District Education Officer also addressed the audience, urging students to draw inspiration from the life of Swami Vivekananda and become good individuals.

The entire event was coordinated by teachers Jeevan Lal, Sajiya, and Priyanka.
